HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0359ng
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,
I’m experiencing multiple structural issues with my HP Envy x360 laptop.

First, the right hinge broke out of the display housing during normal opening. As this is a convertible model, overextension is mechanically prevented. The device has never been dropped or mishandled, and there is no external damage visible. This strongly suggests a manufacturing or design defect.

In addition to the hinge failure, I’ve also noticed that the bottom case is cracked along the length where the rubber foot is attached. This crack developed over time and seems to be related to weak material choices, again, without any external force involved.

Both issues significantly affect the usability and structural integrity of the device.

I kindly ask for guidance on how to proceed regarding repair or a possible warranty or goodwill solution.

Photos of both the hinge damage and the bottom case crack are attached.
Thank you for your support!
