HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0000na
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi everyone

Can some one help me get a definitive answer on a query please

I currently have a HP Pavilion gaming laptop Model No: 15-ec0000na which to point out is brilliant

Via the built-in HDMI port i have a HP 25x Gaming Monitor ( Again brilliant ) connected and all works perfectly.

I am wanting to connect a second HP 25x monitor alongside. ( Purely for having the same two monitors next to each other )

Is this possible with this laptop model ?????

I've read loads of things about certain HP laptop models USB-C ports being data only but can't find if this is the case with my model.

I would find this strange if it the case as my model number appears in the compatible models under most HP USB-c docks and hubs having HDMI outputs. Surely it can't be classed as COMPATIBLE if only the USB -A ports work and not the HDMI.

If this is the case has anyone got a solution for adding a second external monitor to this setup via any form of dock that will work. Really want to know before i commit!!!

Interestingly all the HP promotional picture packs for the 25x monitor i can find round the web have a picture of TWO 25x monitors setup next to a HP Pavilion gaming laptop so this must be possible somehow or does feel like a bit mis-sell.

Look forward to the replies

KInd regards in advance

The specs of your machine is

Yes, it only has  1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port therefore you can't use it to connect to an external monitor.

If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3) using USB-A port, please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few options on market today including some HP products:
