I bought my HP laptop through Amazon, with special features such as an increase in memory up to 64 GB, offered by the seller. After a few months of having it in my possession, it began to fail, the cursor management became erratic, it gave blue screens, it blocked. I consulted the scope of the warranty, asked HP technical service for assistance, they could not resolve it online. required sending it to Hp so that they could take charge of resolving the failure, this involved sending the laptop from Venezuela to the United States back, sending it to California, Hp's response was that the motherboard was damaged and that this was not Covered by warranty, the repair cost was $590. We contacted Michael Electronics who was the seller and who performed the memory upgrade. They received the laptop and for 1 month, they had it in their possession, without giving us any feedback on the progress or findings of the failure. After that time, they sent us the laptop back, telling us that the fault was in the touch screen and that the solution they gave was to disable the touch, that they could not be responsible for doing more. By this date the warranty had expired and no one was responsible for correctly solving the computer problem. In conclusion, we have received the laptop back, with the same fault and without a solution. Honestly, we feel displeased, mocked and scammed by both companies. Now the computer is back in Venezuela and we are left with an economic loss of more than $1,100 that the purchase of this equipment entailed. It has been a very bad experience.
