HP Laptop 15-dy5088ca (2L7V2UA) Serial number: **bleep**Product number: 2L7V2UA

Hi I am looking to connect my laptop to 2 external display's but they both have outputs on the monitors for vga.  The laptop uses hdmi.  How do i connect both monitors for two separate screens.  Is there a docking station that would work?  If you need more information please let me know.

Thank you

Chris

The specs of your machine is

Your monitors are too old for the machine. I think you should be able to use

Monitor 1: From machine HDMI port to VGA monitor using HDMI-VGA converter

Monito  2: From machine USB-A port to VGA monitor using USB to VGA converter.

What is your monitors ? Do they have digital input ports ?

Regards.

The top one only has VGA port, you can use USB to VGA adapter to connect. The second one has DVI port (white port) you can use DIRECT HDMI to DVI cable to connect because they are both use digital signals.
