Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have plugged a Travel Hub & everything works on it except the monitor. 

I plugged in the monitor directly to the laptop using  different cables - & its still not detecting the monitor.

Why isnt my HP Laptop not detecting the monitor? I have a AMD Ryzen 3 3250U for reference.

Appreciate any help! Driving me nuts!

I have a 

HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-e2000 (2J4V7AV)

I was connecting using a HDMI cable to USB... I also used a Travel Hub that I use for my work computer. When using that, everything else was working, (Keyboard, mouse) - but the monitor didnt work with that either. That was plugged in with the USB port as well.
