Hi @EOS13

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP MPP 2.0 pen is charging but not connecting to your HP Spectre 13", here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Check Bluetooth Connection

  • Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your laptop. Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Remove any existing connections for the pen, if listed, and try to reconnect.

2. Pair the Pen Again

  • If your pen has a pairing button (usually located on the side), press it to put the pen into pairing mode.
  • In the Bluetooth settings on your laptop, click "Add Bluetooth or other device," then select "Bluetooth" and choose your pen from the list.

3. Check for Updates

  • Make sure your laptop's operating system and drivers are up to date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
  • You may also want to visit HP's support site to download the latest drivers specifically for the pen.

4. Reset the Pen

  • Sometimes, resetting the pen can help. This can often be done by holding down the power button (if applicable) for a few seconds until it turns off and then turning it back on.

5. Test with Another Device

  • If possible, try connecting the pen to another compatible device to see if it works there. This will help determine if the issue is with the pen or the laptop.

6. Check for Interference

  • Ensure there are no other Bluetooth devices nearby that might interfere with the connection. Turn off other Bluetooth devices temporarily to test the connection.

7. Power Cycle the Laptop

  • Restart your laptop to reset any software glitches that might be affecting the Bluetooth connection.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
