Hello
I'm attempting to download the original HP drivers for my HP Notebook - 15-af164au via its product support page here - HP Notebook - 15-af114au Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
It says there are no drivers available for this product, but I know that isn't true because I have downloaded these drivers in the past from this page when reinstalling Windows.
Could you please provide links to all of the original drivers for this product? My notebook is functioning poorly as a result of these missing drivers.
Thank you

Hi:
Support for the model series has been retired since it has reached 10 years of age.
The good news is you can use the drivers and software from the HP business class notebook equivalent of yours--the 255 G4.
HP 255 G4 Notebook PC Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support
Do not use the latest BIOS update on the support page if you wanted to update the BIOS for some reason.
That was exclusively for the 255 G4.
The latest BIOS update HP released for the 15-af model series was F.28 which is this one:

Hello
Apologies for resurrecting this. When I go to use the Windows 'Camera' application, I'm getting a 0xA00F4250 PhotoCaptureStartFailed (0x80070057) error. I was wondering if there is a specific driver that I need for the webcam / builtin mic? I didn't see an appropriate one under the HP 255 G4 drivers linked previously.
Thank you

You're very welcome.
As far as I know, webcams don't need specific drivers because they are USB powered.
The 15-af model series does not have any camera drivers either.
I wonder if you need to install the Cyberlink YouCam software and the AMD chipset drivers.
Cyberlink Youcam Software
6.0.1.4301
This package contains the CyberLink YouCam Software for the supported notebook models and operating systems. CyberLink YouCam is a webcam application that enables users to capture images and video from a web camera and apply visual effects to captured images and video.
The AMD chipset drivers are from the AMD website.
Select the W10 64-bit driver from the link below:
First driver listed under that section.

Thank you for getting back to me!
I've done some additional troubleshooting in the meantime and it appears as though the problem is specific to the Windows Camera application. Webcam and mic appear to work fine for other software like FB Messenger, Zoom etc. Thank you for confirming there isn't a specific driver needed for the webcam hardware though as it at least rules that out as being a potential problem. I can deal with the Windows Camera application problem seperately.
Thanks again!
