I just got my new notebook a month ago. While watching any video in my laptop, the screen suddenly freezes and a buzzing sound comes from my laptop. This happens atleast twice a week.It does not respond to anything and I need to hard reboot by pressing the power button for a few seconds and then it starts working fine. I tried updating my display adapter drivers but it doesn't help. Please provide a permanent fix for this issue
Product name- HP 15s-eq0024AU
Processor-AMD Ryzen 5 3500U
Graphics Driver-AMD Vega 8 graphics
RAM- 8 GB(2 GB VRAM)
OS- Windows 10 64-bit version 1909

Hi,
First I would update the BIOS of the system. There is one from 20/04 which is for increased stability.
So you can download and install the BIOS linked below. The notebook might reboot a couple of times and make some sounds (normal), just wait until it reboots into Windows.
See if the problem persists:
You should in any case completely update the PC through Windows and HP support assistant.
Hope it helps,
David

Thank you for your help. I updated my BIOS from the HP drivers and support website and also updated my windows with the latest update ( including optional updates). I have not found the issue since the update and I thank you for your help. I will reach out again if the issue comes.
