Product: HP OMEN 15-ce012ur
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is it possible to have a dock station compatible with both? What should I look for?
Is this the option 'HP Thunderbolt™ Dock G2 – Back side (120W/230W)'? It has Type-C and Thunderbolt inputs

I've mentioned few times. For many high end products, I would not mix vendors. More troubles than good. People says STANDARD but in many cases, standard to each one of them but not standard for others. Specially when talking about USB-C ports.

I know that different vendors have different protocols.
I am not asking "Will it be ok if I buy a DELL laptop?".
I _have_ 2 laptops of different vendors. I want to make them work.
So I am asking "What specific lines of specifications I should read". Or otherwise "What protocol must the dock station support for OMEN to work with it".
