Hello,
i checked the manuel and the website, but i couldn't find the information.
1.) "HP Omen 17-ck1075ng": Are the monitor ports connected to the iGPU or dGPU ?
1x HDMI 2.1
1x Mini DisplayPort
1x Thunderbolt 4
2.) Is it possibly to to use an external monitor like the notebook display (if more graphic power is needed it switches automatically to the dGPU)?
Thanks for any help.
Best Regards.

HP disabled iGPU on many HP Omen machines with high end dGPU. The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06640562
It has NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2070 Super™ (8 GB GDDR6 dedicated) I believe its iGPU was disabled. By the way, its HDMI port is connected to the dGPU. Other ports should be the same. You can check as shown on my machine:

Hello Banhien,
thank you for your reply.
I am asking, because i experienced that it's very different, depending on the model version and port.
For example, if the HDMI is directly connected to the dGPU it uses more energy. There are sometimes versions where HDMI, mini dsiplay ports or thunderbolt is directly connected to the iGPU and if needed the dGPU switches on through the iGPU, which saves energy. While just serving in the web, it doesn't need the dGPU.
HP (and others) sadly don't show those informations. At least not in the manual and website.
