OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wd000 (755F6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

The display on my hp omen laptop is damaged and i would like to replace it, when i look in the manual it shows 3 separate part numbers for screens.

My laptop currently has N44826-001—FHD, 250 nits display with a 144hz refresh rate

can i replace it  with N44828-001—QHD, 300 nits display with a 240hz refresh rate or would there be compatibility issues?

both screens have a 40 pin connector.

Hi @Grafwidow

Most likely you will have problems, since they use different cables, and this probably on the motherboard the contacts are more pin or less pin
