HP Pavilion laptop
MODEL 15-cs3009na
can I connect 2 monitors to this laptop ?
there is only 1 HDMI port and the USB are taken up with mouse and keyboard
there is a micro USB
when I have tried previously to connect two monitors, the laptop is unable to "see" the second monitor
any help would be really appreciated

It does not have micro USB port. It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

thanks for your help- i had tried that previously but was unable to get the lap top to see the two monitors in settings
if you are saying the laptop has the capability to link to two monitors I will buy the adaptor again
