HP PAVILLION LAPTOP : 15-EG3055CL

I bought this HP PAVILLION LAPTOP : 15-EG3055CL from Costco during November 2023. Now battery does not hold charge more than an hour. Costco warranty just expired. Allstate warranty is still there . But I have mail in for repair. What is the best way to fix it. Do I have replace the battery . Which model/brand to buy and replace it

The only suggestion I can offer would be to test and calibrate the battery before deciding to replace it.
