Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP Pavilion x360 that is out of warranty but about 15 months old.  Screen and keyboard do not respond/work - although the power button does work.  I can plug into an external monitor and use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and it works.  I took it to a local repair place, and they could not diagnose the issue.  No external damage.

Any idea on repair cost - and is it worth it versus the cost of a new one.

Thanks -

Hello @Rjoinrva

In most cases, the display cable behind the screen has come loose. The same applies to the keyboard, which has a small ribbon cable that has come loose.

The costs for a screen repair can be high, for the keyboard low. I would leave the notebook as is and connect a USB wired keyboard and use a large monitor via HDMI.

Good luck
