HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0073cl

I have a HP Pavilion 15 Laptop PC 15-eg0073cl. I  have 2 Acer monitors that have HDMI connections. Connecting to HDMI  to HDMI works fine but with a HDMI to UBC-C  adapter, the second monitor is not working when connecting to the USB-C port on the laptop. How can I get the second monitor working?

@kenny1943

It has  1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port.

Please use USB-C to DP adapter. It is much better to us USB-C monitor. And much much better to you HP USB-C G5 dock.

Regards.

Just to be clear, I cannot use a HDMI to USB-C cable to connect to my laptop. If i had a USB-C monitor could I use a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the monitor to the laptop?
