Hello,
I have an HP Pavilion 17-f027ds red laptop.
The issue is what I thought was a bad LCD. No display. So I replaced the LCD. Even with the new LCD I still have no display. So I then replaced the motherboard. Even with the new motherboard there is no display showing. I connected the laptop to an external monitor with both motherboards and still no display.I am lost here. Does anyone know what may be the issue? I did take out the battery and unplugged the charger and held down the power button for 30 sec. I do know that I should be able to see something on the external monitor but I get nothing.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are not getting any display on the computer screen.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you disconnect the hard drive and remove the RAM and check if you get the display on the computer.
Also, do you get any lights on the computer when you turn it on?
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hello,
All of that was done. Everything was disconnected from both motherboards. I tried disconnecting everything one by one until there was nothing connected but the power/DC jack. No matter what I tried nothing gave me a display thru the 2 screens I tried nor the external monitor. Yes there were lights. Charging light and power light.. Fan spins. I even sought help from other forums and nothing they suggested worked. So I just gave up on it.Appreciate your assistance but this seemed to be a dead end.
