HP Pavilion - 14-ce3511na

Each time I start up my laptop (after it’s been shut down), the screen will flicker and go black as soon as I move my mouse. If I connect an external monitor the display is fine on there but as soon as I move my mouse to my laptop display, it disappears again. I have to restart my laptop and the problem disappears?? Obviously would like to avoid the time spent restarting the laptop each morning. I tried to remove the driver as advised on another thread but the problem remains. It doesn’t matter what external devices I have plugged in, the same thing happens each time.

Hi,

my Pavillion, modell 14-ce3812no, had exactly the same problem for some months, it started this spring/summer.

Not always but most of the time the screen flickered, I had to do a restart, and then it dissappeared. Strange becaues what would be he difference from the first start to the second?!

I didnt know what to do and hadnt find the way here to this forum until now.

Suddenly some weeks ago the laptop died...batterydiod is not lit, no charging going on,  and laptop doesnt show any signs of life anymore. I have tried another cable and adapter but no differens.

Someone told me to push the on/off button for 30 seconds so I did....but nothing happend.

I bought this laptop 23rd of august 2020 so its not old and problems started after a year and a half.

I only use it at home, on my desk, accountingprograms and some web, nothing special.

Someone got an idea of what to do if the laptop is completey dead?!

Battery is intergrated so no chance of changing that, unless spending to much money I guess.

I dont even know if its the battery.

Best regards

Joakim from Sweden
