HP Pavilion 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop PC 17-cd2000 (2P0M4AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As I found out, and its a shame, there is big incompatibility amongs HP Pavilion Gaming notebook (17-cd2000nc) and HP Reverb G2 VR3000 Headset.

Using quality Club3D CAC-1567 adapter:

USB-C to DisplayPort, image at both lens are distorted and completely unusable (black/white vertical lines).

As it seems, USB-C is hardwired to onboard Intel Iris graphics and not to Nvidia RTX 3050; and because there is no MUX switch (either in BIOS or via software), headset simply doesnt work via path DP->USB-C->Iris->RTX3050.

Some info about MUX switch can be found here:
https://jarrods.tech/what-is-a-mux-switch-for-gaming-laptops/

HP support should be aware of this and make patch for it.
Notebook has latest BIOS update and Intel + Nvidia drivers, Headset has latest firmware too, Windows fully updated.
