Product: HP Pavilion Laptop 15-ck0xx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Dear Support,
I ran into a problem when trying to connect my display device via usb 3.0 to HDMI adapter. I cannot find any proper drivers and screen is keeping black.
Drivers provided by hardware distributor not working (adding some new device called 'XXX Usb display')

What is your HP Pavilion Laptop 15-ck0xx ? For example
Probably it has SAME ports of the above machine, which are
- 1 HDMI 1.4b;
- 1 headphone/microphone combo;
- 1 RJ-45;
- 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s);
- 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only)
You have to use HDMI port to connect to an external monitor. Using USB-C (or USB-A) to HDMI for a second external monitor won't work.
Regards.
BH
