HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2053cl PEN

I would like to have a pen for my HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2053cl (it is a touch screen CANNOT fold into a tablet) to take notes on slides in grad school. So nothing too fancy just basic functions. I was looking online and I could not find a pen that could work on my computer. I recently brought a Wacom bamboo ink pen that does not work. Anyone know anything under $50 (the lower the better I am going into debt here for school) that could work with my model?
