Issue Summarized: After 15-30 Minutes of using the laptop, the left-click becomes unresponsive on the touchpad and the mouse lags. Hard Restarting the device solves the issue temporarily until it occurs again.
Laptop Model: HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 15-er1047nr
My HP Pavilion is a year and a half old and is currently covered under an extended warranty. I have sent this laptop off to HP through Geek Squad at Best Buy on two separate occasions for this same issue. They are the only HP service provider within 200 miles of me and every time I go in for an appointment with them they just try to get me to buy their personal Geek Squad services. The first time the laptop was sent off the issue was fixed for a little while only for the same issue to return a few months later. I got the laptop back yesterday after sending it off to HP for a second time only for this issue to still be present. I have also tried HP's remote chat where they take over your device temporarily to try and troubleshoot... I am not sure where to go from here as it just feels like a cycle of being without my laptop for a month only for the issue to still be present. All drivers are up to date and the laptop has been factory reset as of recently. Has anyone run into an issue like this before?
