Hi Guys
Im Aware this is quite a regular topic on here, since doing some research on google, but is it actualy poosible to switch to the (better) Radeon card?, Incase you didnt know this laptop has two built in Graphics cards a Intel(R) HD Graphics Family and the (Better) one Radeon (TM) HD 7470M.
I Have tried right clicking the desktop menu were it brings up "configure switchable graphics" from here i have set it to run in "High Performance" mode which is sposed to activate the Radeon card (But it doesnt), furthermore i also told it to switch to "High Performance" on the specific game i wanted it to "Rome 2" which i need Radeon to play.
Any Help Guys?? Thanks

Since this post is 4 years old, this may be pointless. However, the answer the previous gentleman gave you is not wrong, even though you think so.
Depending on the age of your DV6, it may have either switchable dynamic graphics, or if really old, fixed graphics. Dynamic graphics implies that it is capable of switching between the integrated Intel graphics on your Sandy Bridge CPU and the Radeon card without rebooting, more or less seamlessly. Fixed graphics implies that the box has to be rebooted in order to switch. It depends on the age of your box, and the driver you have installed.
Step 1: Make sure your driver is up to date.
Step 2: Start up Catalyst control center (On Windows 10, down in the left corner of your screen, should be a box that says "Type here to search". Type Catalyst Control Center. When Windows brings this up, click on it to start it).
Step 3: If you have dynamic switching, celebrate. Look under Power Switchable Graphics Global settings. Set plugged in for maximum performance.
Step 4: Go back to Power. Click on Switchable Graphics Application settings.
Step 5: Select all applications. Search for the game or whatever that you want to run with Radeon. When it comes up, change the setting to High Performance. Repeat for any applications you want to run on your discrete graphics card.
That's it. You can see whether or not it's working by running an application you've designated high performance, and selecting the Switchable Graphics Application monitor in the Catalyst Control Center.
