Hello, I bought an HP Pavilion x360 about 1 year 6 months back. As it is a decent investment from me, I went with good brand like HP rather than choosing others with the hope that I will be satisfied with it. On top of that, I have being extra careful (as it appears a bit delicate) in handling it to avoid any physical damage. Never put pressure, always opened the screen with care. To my surprise I noticed yesterday that the screen is separating from the case. I am shocked that even after such careful handling if such laptops give up what else could I do better? Now I am scared to open the laptop as it seems that it will slowly aggravate the issue. After doing a but of research I found that it is a very common problem. It clearly seems like Poor Design issue. I fail to understand that if it is a common problem why does not HP take some action (recalling the product altogether or providing blanket support for this issue) that can work in retaining customer confidence in brand HP?
Hoping to get a quick response and resilution on the issue raised.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I can see how that would be difficult, it sounds like hardware related issue with the plastic housing and to fix this issue, your computer needs to be serviced. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.
I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers to check the available service options to diagnose the computer physically. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Please feel free to contact us here anytime you need any further assistance. Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Thank you for your quick reply. As you suggested, I will reach out to HP Support centre from the link you provided. Just to double check - As this seems to be a problem faced by this model laptop users across globe, the fixing should not incur any cost to the consumer? Kindly confirm and I will accordingly communicate with the Support Team.
And offcourse I will select your response as "Accept as Solution" once I have got this issue fixed.
Thanks,

The link that you include to contact HP for a repair keeps sending me round in a circle. It asks me to select the product I need repair and then the only option it gives me to contact you is to visit the HP support community....
Is there a direct email address I can use?
