Hi guys,

The screen of my lovely laptop has an inconsistent flickering issue, although i am unsure of the correct terms, it seems to be the backlight that flickers, only when the charger is not plugged in.

The flickering can be described as rapid changes from dark to light, manually changing the brightness settings seems to affect it in someway, when it is flickering it can be resolved when the charger is plugged in, when tested i've disconnected the charger immediately the screen continues to flicker.

I have run some tests in the bios menu, although i have not spent enough time watching the screen while in the bios menu to see if the flickering happens there, i have run some tests and the Video Palette Check had failed, giving the Failure ID : Q4XC7Q-97P9R1-MFPW3G-Q28603.

Thanks to anyone that can help me 🙂

Since the Video Test failed, this is a Hardware issue and the Notebook needs to be serviced
