HP Pen 1MR94AA will not work with my Pavilion x360

I recently purchased an HP Active stylus (1MR94AA) based on the recommendations that were given by this document: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05166879. I spent the entire evening trying to find out why it will not work with my convertible notebook, but I have not found any answers to my questions/issues. Will this pen work with my laptop or should I consider getting another pen? If this is the case, what pen should I get for my HP Pavilion x360 - 13-u163nr????????

I do not find your computer model listed in the compatibility document.

I did find two Pavilion x360 models listed (at this writing):

I checked another resource, too, and no pen is listed for your model.

There is not a compatible pen listed for your computer model.

Conclusion:  The model does not support an active stylus.

I don't think that I missing any information. The only thing that I feel is relevant to this issue is that when I search for the model of my laptop, the status says that it has been discontinued. Is this important?

I am sorry your computer is not in the list of compatible models that support an active stylus.

Not all models support the active stylus.

Not as far as I know. I believe I had inquired about Pavilion u series at one time and the answer was no digitizer to work with active pen/stylus. Passive stylus is only option.
