Hello,
The HP Pen Control App does not want to work with my laptop. I just received the laptop the other day and haven't really done anything with it or downloaded lots of content so I doubt there is a program interfering with the pen control app. Anyone have a fix for this?

Welcome to the HP English Community --
The HP Pen Control application is not compatible with all pens, not even all those that have a piece of the MPP name.
The app does not impact whether a given pen is compatible with the computer -- the app is simply a button control app.
If the pen you have is not compatible with the computer, the HP Control App would not make the pen compatible.

Sure, makes sense.
I do not know of a way to force the HP Pen Control application to be compatible where it says it is not.
Neither does the Maintenance and Service Guide mention Pen Control Plus that is built into systems compatible with that application.
Should there be a separate and different solution, I am not aware of it.
If I run across something useful, I will post back.
