Hi @gurpreet506,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If you are experiencing issues connecting your HP pen to your HP ENVY x360 15 Convertible PC 15-es2000 (4V391AV), there are a few steps you can follow to resolve the problem:
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Ensure Pen Charge: Make sure that your pen is fully charged. Since the amber light doesn't turn white, it might indicate that it needs more charging, or there might be an issue with the charging process.
- Proper Charging Setup: Verify if the pen is correctly placed in the magnetic pen attachment and charger area. This must be properly aligned for the charging to occur.
- Bluetooth Pairing:
- Ensure that your laptop Bluetooth is turned on.
- Navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "Add Bluetooth or Other Device."
- Try to pair the pen again by pressing the Bluetooth button for pairing mode.
- Driver Updates: Make sure your laptop's drivers and BIOS are up to date. You can download the latest versions from the HP Envy x360 Convert 15-es2508dx (8L3A9UA) Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support.
- Pen Troubleshoot: If possible, try the pen on another compatible HP device to check if the issue is with the pen itself.
- Check System Configuration: Make sure any necessary configuration settings are enabled on the laptop for Bluetooth connection.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to contact HP support for further assistance, as there could be a hardware problem with the pen or the laptop's Bluetooth capabilities.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
