I'll be taking notes on my laptop, and suddenly the pen won't register a stroke, seemingly at random. If I move all the way to the last 5th of the screen on the right (with the laptop horizontal and folded over), it won't register anything at all - as long as my hand/palm is touching the screen. It's weird, as I have my hand on the screen at all times when I'm taking notes but the issue gets worse the closer I get to the right edge.
I think it's either a software issue with my laptop, as flipping the screen and holding it in a different orientation doesn't eliminate the problem (i.e. the edge of the screen won't register anything while the majority of the screen works fine and strokes won't register at random), or it's a hardware issue with my pen.
I've updated drivers, turned my laptop on and off, and looked online without luck. I would try another pen, but I don't have one I can use and don't want to spend money to buy another before trying everything else. Any suggestions?
