HP Pen that came with my HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx doesn't work anymore

HP Recommended
Spectre x360 13-ae0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The pen that came with the laptop that I bought stopped working for me a few days ago. I use it to write notes while I'm in class. The pen worked for me for about a day and then the next day it wouldn't recognize anything that I was doing. I switched out the battery to see if that would help and made sure all my drivers were updated but nothing has helped. It just stopped working out of nowhere. A new semester is coming up so I would like this to help me take notes during class but I can't seem to find any answers anywhere. Please help

@SelenaWirthlin Greetings from the HP Community!

If that's an active stylus that came with the device, please consider replacing the battery or using it with a full charge, if that doesn't work, check if it works on an alternate device,

And if it doesn't work on other devices as well, you may want to have it replaced to resolve the issue.
