HP ProBook x360 435 G7 Notebook PC (8RA64AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I received my x360 435 G7 Notebook through school and have been using it for going on four years now. I finished school in December and have recently factory reset my laptop to remove all of the school's hardware from my computer. Today I picked up my HP Pro Pen G1, which I have not had a single issue with in the entire time I have owned it (also going on four years), but suddenly it will not register at all on my laptop.

I've changed the battery, changed the stylus tip, uninstalled/updated every driver suggested, downloaded newest HP software, checked my pen/touch screen settings, tried to calibrate pens, made sure the touch screen was in working order (which it is), etc. Nothing has fixed the issue and I'm losing hope.

If it means anything, I thought that this could have been caused by the fact that I need to renew/update my Windows license since it is not being paid for by the school anymore. But I haven't found anything online to indicate that this would affect my pen so I have no idea what's going on. Willing to try anything at this point.
