Hi,
I understand USB C display port alt mode is what allows a monitor to connect directly to a USB C port via USB C cable.
Whilst the ProBook 430 G4 does not seem to support this on its USB C port, I wonder if anyone can confirm if I can still connect a USB C dock with displayport ports to this USB C port and have them work?
The dock we'd look to use would be a Dell WD19.
Many thanks.
James

Its specs

Looks like it only has a Basic USB-C port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. I can't find it on the list of compatible docks
