Specs CPU 5800u, ram 32GB 3200, Ssd 512GB. GPU Vega 8 with 0.5GB vram [...]

GPU change vram only options is 256 and 512MB which for modern days is outdated.

Games such age of empires 2 definite no run in this laptop because dedicated video ram is not enough!

And this game run ok on old laptop HP CA17 Ryzen 3700U with RX VEGA 10 GRAPHICS (2GB vram dedicated) !

Why HP locked the vram only to 0.5GB in this laptop G8 445?

Now this laptop is useless for any modern light game or application.

Many of my applications no works and showing this error:

This computer not meet the minimum requirements 1GB vram!

Why HP scum customers, with locked BIOS VRAM?

I have the same problem, it would be great that hp give us a bios update that let us upgrade vram up to 4gb. The graphics in this pc are really nice and powerfull but they're limited by the vram and we can't use the 100% of the gpu, even when I play some games my vram is at 90-100% and the gpu is at 50-60%, it's a bottleneck that I think it could be resolved by bios update.
