Hi,

I've got this problem with this laptop[Content Removed]

Ignore the buzzing sound, that is my phone. What the video shows is the laptop trying to boot ubuntu from USB, to run in live mode from usb, you will then see the screen start rolling. This same thing happens when booting Windows 10 or Windows 11 from internal ssd hard drive. Troubleshoot steps I have taken.

1. removed/reseated 8GB ram module in same slot/different slot.

2. Tried different ram module in both slots.

3. Tried this without ssd m2 module installed.

4. reinstalled Windows 10 and Windows 11 from scratch.

5. removed/reconnected the monitor cable.

6. connected external monitor via hdmi.

7. reset bios to factory defaults.

The screen issue happens in all of the above cases, when I boot windows 10/11, it will usually let me login and then the screen issue happens. When it happens, the laptop continues to run, but I have to power it off. When i've connected an external monitor, this stays connected but shows no input and i can't control the laptop.

If I boot into BIOS settings, the laptop will stay on for ever showing the bios settings. If I go into the windows advanced repair settings, again this will display fine.

I don't think it is a screen issue, i suspect something faulty on the motherboard, but would be interested to see if anyone has seen this before.

Thanks
