Product: HP EliteBook x360 1040 G8 Notebook PC (1H9X5AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I recently bought the HP Rechargeable Pen 2.0. Since the beginning the pen isn't working. I charged it and even still the computer doesn't seem to recognize it and i failed to find any useful info regarding the issue.

Not all machines of the series support stylus/pen. Please check System first. For example on my 2 machines: one YES and one NO
For your machine, if YES you can use the following compatible pens (as mentioned on page 3 of its manual)
- WACOM AES 2.0 Pen with app launch button
- WACOM AES 2.0 Pen with app launch button G3
Regards.
