Spectre Folio 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using a Sprectre Folio that is about 6 months old.

Recently when using the whiteboard app areas where I could not write on appeared. These areas appear as bands across the screen, and are unresponsive to the HP active pen and my fingers.

I have checked and installed all new Windows updates to no effect.

I have attempted to calibrate the touchscreen, however the unresponsive bands prevent me from completing this procedure correctly.

I have performed a hard reset to no effect.

I have updated to the latest BIOS to no effect.

I have performed a HP PC UEFI Hardware Diagnostics Component test (F2). The touch block test I am able to complete because the block height is greater than the height of the unresponsive bands.

I am unable to complete the drag test, however, no error report is generated, it simply says I did not complete the test.

I feel like this must be a hardware problem, but I wanted to check here first.

Thank you for any help.
