Hello!

 

I have issues with my HP spectre display. I dont know, if these issues were there from the beginning but now they are really upseting me...

As you can see from the pictures below, the display shows vertical and horizontal beams, especially when there are bright icons or arrays on the display. The first picture shows the problem at 100% brightness. Even if i lower the brightness to 70%, the beams are still visible. They disappear beneath 50% but thats not bright enough especially at daytime.

I've already reinstalled the drivers for display and graphic card. The issues aren't present on an external monitor (i connected the notebook with a tv by hdmi).

In BIOS these beams are not visible but i can't change the brightness in this mode anyway.

I hope somebody might recognize this problem and have some advice.

Since the problem does not exist on the external monitor, I suggest you contact HP Support in your region for service options

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
