HP Spectre 360 convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So our HP Spectre that I bought a little over a year ago has started having lines appear at the bottom all of a sudden.  I have never dropped it or had anything happen to it.  I took it to an IT specialist who said the screen was cracked on the "inside" and it would cost almost $600.00 to have it replaced!!! We paid over a $1000.00 for this computer and now we have to replace the screen??? Can anyone tell me if HP will replace this as defective?  Thank you.
