HP Spectre x360 13- aw0xxx I was traveling, had my backpack on the entire time and my laptop in the case. The screen cracked! I’m on an island in Portugal and have been told they don’t just replace the screen but the touch/ lcd must be replaced for about $400. Any way to find one online and then have them service it?
deactivating the touch screen but keeping it cracked will be about 20$. I’d pay max $150 to get a new screen. Is it possible? I really don’t have the funds.
advice?!

Well that’s why I’ve turned here. Because I can never get any actual support, just leads to purchase something and that’s even before my warranty expired. It just expired a few months ago and back then I trouble shooted and solved my own issues. Now the warranty expires and my biggest problem yet. I’m not in the U.S now, I’m in Portugal so even more of a disadvantage. I just want to know if it’s worth the 400$ to get it fixed. Fans have been running heavy, I still have plenty of memory, but this cracked screen is random (I did nothing to it!) and frustrating

Hi @Jmamba,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to assist you.
I see that there is an issue with the laptop hardware and may need repair.
The support here is limited and this issue might require one-on-one interaction to fix it.
