Hi,

can anyone tell me an active pen that is compatible with this laptop?

@chanlulu, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

For your HP Spectre x360 - 13-aw0242tu, the HP Tilt Pen is recommended. This model supports active stylus technology, and the HP Tilt Pen is compatible with it. Unfortunately, beginning with certain updates, the tilt feature is no longer supported in Windows Ink Workspace but may work with applications such as Microsoft OneNote and Microsoft Snip & Sketch, both of which can support tilt with a highlight marker pen.

If the active pen you tried is not working, ensure that your device is updated with the latest drivers and firmware which might enable better compatibility with the HP Tilt Pen. You can find updates at the HP Software & Driver Downloads webpage.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
