HP Spectre x360 - 13-w023dx
Microsoft Windows 11

I updated to windows 11 manually.  That worked fine. It would not allow me to automatically update to Windows 11 because it said my processor was not supported.  After upgrading manually, I find that Win 11 runs perfectly fine.

However, this laptop is a 2-in-1 and no longer recognizes the folding action and does not disable the keyboard after folding.

I can't update the drivers since Hp's support site insists on only allowing be to choose Windows 10.

Any ideas how to fix this problem?

Where are the Win 1 drivers for this located.  I assume it's one of the folders under C:/SWSETUP.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Stee:

I believe that if you reinstall this driver, you might get those functions to work again:

Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver

The Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver enables the Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and eCompass sensors that provide rotation control functionality typically used in detachable and convertible system. This package is provided for supported models running a supported operating system.

sp78557.exe

The next time the new build of Windows comes out (~Oct 2025), watch this video for how to do an in-place upgrade to it rather than having to clean install the new builds each year.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I don't have sp78557.exe.
The problem is that installing Win11 clean wiped out whatever was in this folder.

I do have the following folders under SWSETUP:

sp79235  - contents include 41_ThemeSetup.cmd...  probably not this one

sp80948 - contents include SetupHPJumpStartBridge.msi...  probably not this one

sp82019 - contents include HPCUST2.exe, ImgEnh4SysLogon.exe

sp84209 - contents include 0827EF41_Win.exe

sp84244 -

sp87554 - contents include InstMultiPkg.ini

sp113820 - HPSupportAssistant.dll... probably not this one

sp155262 - Also HP Support Assistant

Oh...

I just noticed that you gave me a link to this driver.   THANKS!

I'll try it and let you know.

I installed that driver you sent me.
It seems to have worked.

Folding the keyboard now disables the physical keyboard the way it used to work.

Under Win 10, folding the keyboard caused the screen to visually expand.

That doesn't happen, even with this update.   But I can live without visual confirmation that I folded the keyboard.  LoL!

Thanks for the help.
