HP 15 Spectre x360 - 15-ch010nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Newbie question: I don't own a laptop (yet). Focussing on HP Spectre x360 15-ch010nd

Out of curiosity: can the touch screen work together with a Blue tooth mouse?

Or should either one be deactivated, i.e. it is either touch screen or blue touth mouse.

Thanks in advance.

Hi! @hpwul, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand you would like to know if you can use the touchscreen and mouse at the same time.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

As you mentioned you would like to know if you can use the touchscreen and mouse at the same time.

I think you're confusing desktop vs. tablet mode here. These two modes just determine how apps (and even Win32 programs) are displayed and handled. They do influence a couple of other aspects too, but nothing that would have to do with either mouse or touch. And it doesn't make any difference whether you do this in pure desktop or tablet mode.

Any Windows 10 device can take advantage of tablet mode, as you can use a physical keyboard and mouse with it.

Hello to you,

Many thanks for your elaborate reply.

To be honest, right now, I am still making my mind up on  which  laptop to select.

I don't have one, neither did I own one in the past. I am (still) comparing different brands.

Whilst doing so and as the above HP model has a touchscreen. I assumed that one could use the wireless keyboard, wireless mouse and touchscreen altogher (as a mix) but I was just curious to know if that is indeed the case.

Meaning, I would use the laptop with using just they keyboard and touchscreen (let's say in another room) but when returning to the location where the wireless mouse  is  indeed available, the laptop will then 'recognize' / connect with the wireless mouse automatically.

Thanks.

@hpwul, Thank for your quick response and time again.

I appriciate your efforts for writing back to us.

As you mentioned you would like to use wireless keyboard and mouse sitting in other room and use the touchscreen when you return to your PC.

As I mentioned in my previous thread you should have no issues using the wireless keyboard and mouse also the touchscreen together.

And HP Spectre x360 15 is a premium laptop the build quality and performance is outstanding. I personally recommend you should go for this laptop.
