HP Spectre x360 (15-df0013dx)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Spectre x360 - 15-df0013dx. I installed the wrong touchscreen firmware. I installed the one for the 13.3" model. Since it isn't compatible, it should've refused to install, but it did not and it wrecked my touchscreen. Now, the only way I can use my laptop is to disable the touchscreen from the device manager. HP hasn't released the original firmware for my model, and there's still no update either, so my 2000 USD laptop is crippled because I don't have the correct firmware, which is less than 2mb. It is incredible that hp does not provide a solution to a problem caused by their software. A replacement is not a solution because I moved away from where I bought it.

I tried:
-Factory reset with HP cloud recovery tool
-Reinstalled drivers
-Install a BIOS update

Thanks
