HP Spectre x360 15 4K
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have just bought a Spectre 4K laptop with a dual grahics, Intel UHD 620 and a geforce MX150, with windows 10 version 1709.

In Settings>Apps>Video play back the option <Stream HDR Video> is greyed out with a note saying 'we didn't find any displays that support HDR video'.

In display adapter properties is listed the Intel UHD graphics 620

Is this normal for my laptop, meaning that despite having a screen that supports 4K doesn't support Windows 10 HDR streaming for Apps or do I need to change settings or anything I can do to fix it....

Thanks

Hi Styzzi,

Unfortunately, your laptop doesn't have an HDR (High-dynamic-range) display. Instead, most laptops used SDR displays.

More information about meeting minimum specifications for HDR support in Windows 10 here.

Hopefully, HP rolls out devices with HDR displays!
