Spectre X360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just got my spectre shipped to me last Friday, 11/6, and noticed the trackpad seemed a bit slow when trying to scroll through internet pages, but it wasn't such a big deal that I would post on this page.  Last night, 11/9, the trackpad started making a strange clicking noise every time I touched it, no matter how slight. This has persisted through today, and my partner's HP Envy does not make the same noise when touching the trackpad, so it clearly isn't normal.  This is a big bummer because I spent an entire weekend formatting the computer, transferring files, and installing programs for grad school (not to mention the money spent).  I'm really hoping I don't have to ship it back to HP, are there local service centers that can fix this?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the trackpad is making a noise when you use it.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you contact support and they will assist you with the available service options for your computer.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

 

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
