Hi. I started having screen flickering on my HP Spectre x360 - 15-ch011dx (2LV24UA). It started suddenly after I was using it normally. Flickering occurs intermitently, is not related to opening/closing the laptop. I have already updated my drivers via Windows Update and also via direct download from NVIDIA and intel. I've also updated the BIOS yesterday.
I've performed the following tests:
1. Using an external monitor - the external monitor works perfectly, without flickering issues
2. Updating drivers and bios - the problem persists.
3. Created a bootable USB drive with Windows 11 - persists
4. Created a bootable USB drive with Linux Ubuntu - persists
5. Entered in BIOS - persists
6. Performed UEFI diagnostics from HP - nothing wrong appears
7. Tried to change panel refresh rate - persists
When I turn my laptop off for a few minutes and turn it on again it stays for about 5-10 minutes working properly, but then flickering restarts.
After uploading the bios it initially appeared to solve the problem, but then it started again in a very intense frequency.
Do you think this might be a hardware problem? The strange thing is that it has periods of normal functioning not related to laptop position, opening/closing it.

@Gaya1239 It's been a few days, did a solution or anything useful come of the private discussion? Can you report back on the outcome or any progress that's been made?
Why did this need to go to a one-on-one interaction anyway? What's the "next action" that you're assisting with here?

Unfortunaty the solution suggested in the private message is to call the support center, but since my laptop is out of warranty it says tbe contact will be charged.
anyone could please provide me another solution?

Hi @TSALM, thanks for letting me know. I assumed it was something like that, but it wasn't clear from the support agent's message!
Unfortunately I don't have any solutions to suggest.
I've recently started to have the same intermittent flickering problem you described (Spectre x360 15-bl101na).
I had factory-reset the machine, but I updated all drivers, BIOS, etc. and it was still happening. Like you, I also booted via USB into Linux where the issue persisted.
Hopefully someone else can provide more information. I'd like to keep the machine and I'm happy to try any additional troubleshooting steps.
