HP Sure View not working on my EliteBook 840 G11. Pressing fn+F2 does nothing – no screen change, no LED on F2 key.

What I've tried:

  • Checked BIOS Advanced tab – no "Force enable HP Sure View" option found

  • Downloaded HP Hotkey Support driver from HP Support – installer fails with "Failed to extract archive"

  • Checked Microsoft Store – HP Sure View app not downloding

  • Ran HP Support Assistant – no relevant updates detected

System Info:

  • Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (Build 26200.8894)

  • Intel Core Ultra 7 165U

  • 14" WUXGA display

Please confirm if my specific unit has the Sure View hardware, and how to fix the driver installation issue. Thanks.

Hi @Stalis

Has it ever worked for you? The reason I ask is that this feature is optional; first check to see if the key has this icon.
