Spectre 14-ea0178ng
Microsoft Windows 11

I recently got the HP Spectre 14-ea0178ng with the tilt Pen MPP2.0 in Black and an adaptor for two USBs and one HDMI port. The MPP2.0 didn‘t come with a USB-C cable nor a serial number. (The whole package was in an original HP box, which was Black, in which there was another gold and black box including a leather case, the Pen, the Main Cable for the Notebook and the HDMI and USB adaptor. The Problem now is that the Pen, when connected via USB-C cable to the notebook, is only blinking in amber, instead of being solid amber. It also won‘t connect after having been on the Cable connected with the PC for 1 hour. After that it just blinks in white, instead of being solid white (which should signal it is fully charged.). The light on the Pen is never solid amber nor solid white and it won‘t connect and as soon as I pull the Plug from the Pen, the light dies out.

My Questions now are: Why is it doing that and how can I fix it?  And where is the serial Number for the pen?

The USB-C cable is for charging the pen (stylus) and this works similar normal charging process. The pen then works using wireless connection. Please check Device manager to see is the pen on the list ?

Regards.
