Bought a new HP Envy and the Internal camera is not working. I went into the drivers, settings, privacy, etc and all is up to date. When I try to preview the camera in "settings" i just get a black preview screen. The event log says "Device USB\VID_04F2&PID_B767&MI_00\6&2699bff6&0&0000 requires further installation". I have tried removing the device several times as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated

That appears to be related to the ATI or Radeon video system and is not camera related. I could give better (?) advice if I knew your laptop model or product ID.
1 - enter "camera" in the windows search box. An error message may appear. If so, click "Get Help". If there is no "Get Help" then read this article.

2 - bring up the device manager, look for an error icon, try to roll back the driver. Possibly a windows update put the wrong camera driver in
In the pictures below you would select the camera driver and then look for 'rollback'

If camera driver is the problem

If you cannot rollback the driver then try to find the best one or let windows try. One way is to just uninstall the camera and reboot as described in this official HP document..

See if there is a cover that needs to be slid up or down to expose the camera
look for a function key that turns the camera on or off
possibly this might help
