Product: OMEN 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-ae0000 (9J127AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Looks like this has been a problem for years but thought I would try again. Windows Hello can't use facial recognition on my new Omen because it says it cannot find a compatible camera. The camera seems to work with every other app. On HP support site I found the various bits of advice about updating the drivers, uninstalling device, etc. Nothing has worked. Does HP have a solution to this problem?

HP Truevision FHD Camera is NOT compatible with Windows Hello. You need a camera which supports IR / 3D to be able to use Windows Hello.
Regards.
