Hi I have a problem with the HP USB-C G5 Essential. My HP elitebook 845 g8 laptop should be compatible with this device. I have the latest drivers from hp website and the latest bios. It has 3 4k monitors connected to the docking station. The monitors once work once not, I have to disconnect the dock to reconnect the cables to make it work. The screens flash or are completely off, or one works 2 do not. In a word, it works hopelessly. There is no difference whether the resolution is fhd or 4k, it still works the same. I tried to turn on the high resolution option in the bios, but it doesn't do anything. Holding the off button for 30 seconds doesn't help either. Please help. Reading this thread I see that I'm not the only one with this problem:
